Along the coast of this area will be the Foot of the Volcano fast travel. Reptyro will be catchable near this Fast Travel point, meaning you can stick close by and bail back to base if things get too harrowing.
If you come across such an area too soon in your adventure, be sure to remember where it is and to mark the nearest Fast Travel so you can come back once you are more prepared and have gotten some leveling done .
