In 2005, https://stlpca.org presenter Reggie Yates introduced on the present that it was Super Furry Animals with “Do or Die”, 78win broadcast on 28 January 2000, clocking in at ninety five seconds. The oldest full episode in existence was initially transmitted on Boxing Day in 1967 (only 5 full recordings from the 1960s survive, two of which have mute presenter hyperlinks). Two full episodes from 1967 had been found in a personal assortment in 2009, having been recorded at residence on an early out there open reel to reel video recorder.
In an August 1967 edition, freeslotsonline as Jimi Hendrix prepared to perform “Burning of the Midnight Lamp”, the track “The House That Jack Built” by the Alan Price Set was played in studio as an alternative, reportedly prompting Hendrix to respond: “I don’t know the phrases to that one, man”. On thirteen March 2009, Top of The Pops was once once more revived, this time in its regular format, for a special live Comic Relief edition, airing on BBC Two whereas the main telethon took a break for the BBC News at Ten on BBC One.
